Gear List

Camping Gear:

  • Tent (s)

  • Sleeping Bags

  • Flash Lights

  • Lamps or Lanterns

First Aid: 

  • Basic First Aid Kit

  • Mosquito repellent — lots!

 Clothing:

  • Layers — Camp Noyo is 16.4 miles East of Fort Bragg at the base of the Noyo River Canyon, while the temperature is quite nice during the day it can be chilly once the sun sets, so we encourage layers.

  • Bathing Suits

  • Whatever toiletries you need for your camping experience. 

  • Towels for showering and swimming

 Basic Food / Food Service Items

 Food

Bring whatever food you think you will want or need for your entire stay. There are no grocery stores or food available to buy. What you bring is what you get.

 Food Storage

  • Ice Chests — This is a must as there is no other refrigeration available.

  • Ice

  • All food must be secured - our resident raccoons have mastered getting into an ice chest that locks.

 While it is not our business to tell you what to bring the above list is a suggestion.

 Please note: You are traveling to camp in the wilderness. We suggest you bring what’s needed for comfort, but please don’t bring your entire house.


Driving Directions

Driving maps will be provided to each camper by email a week before arrival.

Skunk Train

Although, the Skunk Train; are normal transportation into camp, is temporarily out of service on some parts of the track. We encourage you to check out some of the short trips they offer.


WHAT'S THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Individual Reservations: If cancellation is more than two weeks from date of check -in, guest will be issued a gift certificate good for the full cost of camping. These certificates will expire one year from the original date of camping. Cancellations within two weeks of your camping date is non-refundable.

Group Reservations: For a full refund on group bookings of 4 or more accommodations, you must cancel 30 days in advance of your reservation date or it’s non-refundable.

Camp Noyo reserves the right to cancel any and all reservations if it is found that projected weather could pose a threat to the safety of our guests


QUIET HOURS

For the enjoyment of all guests, we ask for quiet after 10pm.

  • Fuel — Only small camp-style propane cylinders are allowed.

  • Chainsaws

  • Drugs — No illegal, non-prescription drugs (including marijuana).
