The Beach and River - A very nice beach with docks is available for your use. There is also a variety of kayaks, canoes, and rowboats for your enjoyment at no charge. The crystal-clear river is great for swimming and boating all summer. A seasonal dam provides over a mile of great boating and deeper water from the first week of June to the end of September. Pack a picnic and head up the river!!

There is no lifeguard at the beach so attention to safety is highly recommended. Water safety equipment is provided and required when using any of the boats.  Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the beach without an adult present. No boating, swimming, or climbing is allowed within 20 feet of the dam structure.

Recreation - There are various trails and the camp road, which can be used for hiking.  A horseshoe pit and other games are also available. Camp Noyo is in a remote wilderness area and is home wild animals including, deer, bears, mountain lions, turkeys and smaller mammals. Although we have never had an issue with these animals, it is important to be diligent and we recommend not hiking alone. If you plan a hike it is recommended that you inform the Camp host or other campers of where you are going and your expected return time.
